training for my career in voiceover, even when I didn’t yet know it. I was nine when I began my professional acting career, starring in films like A Room With A View, working with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and appearing in the BBC’s Side by Side. Performance was my world for well over a decade. Then came radio. Working at a radio production company in my early twenties, I got my first taste of voice direction and audio editing, and I loved it! It planted the seed for what was to come. But in my mid-twenties, I felt myself drawn to something bigger than myself: I began training as a midwife.
