I was nine when I began my professional acting career, starring in films like A Room With A View, working with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and appearing in the BBC’s Side by Side. Performance was my world for well over a decade. Then came radio. Working at a production company in my early twenties, I got my first taste of voice direction and audio editing - and I loved it! It planted the seed for what was to come. But in 2000, I felt a pull toward something deeper: I trained as a midwife.
